What we mean with words in this Privacy Policy:

• When we say “we”, “us” or “Stakkd” we mean Stakkd GmbH
• Whenever we say “you” we’re referring to a “user” or “customer” of our platform or services or community
• When we say “Customers” we're referring to suppliers of technology or services who have their Products listed on the Stakkd Platform.
• When we say “Registered Account” or “Stakkd Account” we are referring to both Users and Customers who signup and create a dedicated login account with Stakkd.

Stakkd offers a platform that enables technology Customers to list their HR technology Products for users to discover and assess the best options for their business, as well as a HR tech and AI transformation community on hosted on Slack.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose data about you when using the Stakkd Services such as but not limited to communications. Excluded from this Privacy Policy is any data related to company information that is provided by our Customers to be publicly listed on the Stakkd or through other associated Stakkd Services.

‍To use the Stakkd Platform, you might need to provide us with personal data, personal data is anything that can be used to identify you. It includes but is not limited to:

How we use data that you provide to us:

Reason data is necessary:

• To create a Stakkd Registered Account to be able to use all the features within the Stakkd Platform and/or be able to add the details of a Customer if you / your company has registered as a paid vendor with a full account
• To communicate with you to administer the Stakkd Platform and your Stakkd Registered Account
• To collect feedback on your experience of Stakkd to improve our Platform or associated services
• Provide customer service to troubleshoot and resolve and issues should you encounter any
• For potential customers to be able to contact you / the vendor your represent if your email and/or phone number are listed as the Point-of-Contact for a vendor within the vendor listing page

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

• Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.
• Or conducted on the basis of legitimate interest, or consent (when you have opted-in to marketing)
• If you decide you no longer wish to receive marketing from us, you can click “unsubscribe” at any time from the bottom of one of the marketing emails you have received from us

2. Job title

Reason data is necessary:

• To keep your account up to date
• To provide more personalised marketing if you have selected to receive marketing communication
• To provide insights about the type of users on the Stakkd Platform

Legal basis for processing:

• Conducted on the basis of legitimate interest, or consent (when you have opted-in to marketing)

3. Payment card details

Reason data is necessary:

• To pay for the Stakkd Platform if you are representing a vendor or to pay for other services provided by Stakkd

• Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.

How we use data that we automatically collect:

1. Location data, IP address
Reason data is necessary:

• To deliver use of the Stakkd Platform and content as fast as possible by connecting you to the closest server to you. For example, Load Balancing.
• To understand where users of Stakkd are using the Platform from to understand how we can best serve different geographies

2. Social Logins (Google and/or LinkedIn Accounts)
Reason data is necessary:

• By using your Google and/or LinkedIn Account as your login account for the Stakkd Platform, these providers use cookies. These cookies collect information about your IP address and pages you visit.

Legal basis for processing:

• Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract - at the consent of the user to use Social Logins.

How we share your data.

For Customers:

• By setting up the Product listing page, you are explicitly sharing your own personal data publicly
• In the case you do not list your personal contact information publicly, we will never share your personal data without your explicit permission. Please inform us if this is the case.

For Users:

• We will never share your personal data without your explicit permission
• Exception to sharing data with third parties
• The one time we have to share your personal data without your permission is if we are required to do so by the Police or a Court of Law
• In these instances, we will only share what is legally required
• Once Stakkd provides the required data to the applicable authority, protection of your data then becomes their responsibility

How we keep your data

• We will keep your personal data for as long as you use the Stakkd Platform and keep your Registered Account open.
• If you decide you no longer wish to have a Registered Account, you can request to delete it. To do so, you must email support@stakkd.tech. Your personal data will then be deleted within 1 calendar month.

• The Stakkd Platform uses Cookies to provide you with the best experience possible
• The Stakkd Cookies Policy provides all the details about how we use Cookies and how you can change what Cookies you are happy to accept us to use for you

DATA PROCESSING, SUBPROCESSORS AND TRANSFER OF DATA

Stakkd always processes your data in a secure manner. By default, Stakkd stores and processes your data within the European Union. Stakkd also relies on external third parties (subprocessors) to support with providing our services and therefore they may hold and process your personal data. By using our site, you hereby acknowledge, agree and instruct Stakkd to transfer Personal Information outlined in this Privacy Policy with our subprocessors.

• Stakkd has strong security measures to secure and prevent your personal data from being compromised, either by an accident or malicious attack.
